Video Analytics (VA)
Video analytics transform IP cameras into intelligent systems. Traditionally, a surveillance system requires at least one security guard to look at multiple TVs 24/7. This is very costly and not efficient because the job is tiring and boring. By leveraging existing IP cameras in the surveillance infrastructure, video analytics changes the traditional way by automating the surveillance process with image processing and computer vision, alerting the end user with a smart brain - using PesEyes.

Fighting Detection
Fighting detection determines and alerts aggressive actions, such as punching or kicking between two or more people in a region of interest. It is very useful in video surveillance of open space areas including dormitories, classrooms, factories, public transportation, prisons, bars, or even at sports facilities. PesEyes has a smart mechanism to differentiate fighting from normal activities such as gathering, dancing and playing. In addition, it is customisable to support a variety of distances from camera between 3m to 10m.

Face recognition is a process to identify the known and unknown face from a region of interest. With the state-of-the-art algorithm, PesEyes is able to recognise the registered white list or blacklist with an accuracy of up to 99%. A white list refers to a list of Very Important Persons, while blacklists refer to individuals who are to be avoided or distrusted. With PesEyes, it is fast and reliable, even under challenging conditions such as wearing of masks or glasses, dim lighting, expressions and motion blur.
Face Recognition

Loitering
PesEyes’ loitering is about identifying the loitered human in a region of interest. For example, during the off-duty period, an organisation can schedule this loitering function to safeguard the surrounding area and to alert the officer if someone is loitering. This is a prevention method before something happens – a function that is useful where safety is a concern.

Unattended Object / Item Left Behind
Unattended objects refers to an item/object that is left behind and without any human present. Given a region of interest, PesEyes will constantly model the background to detect and confirm either item(s) left behind or the removal of an item. It is robust against human motion and extreme indoor/outdoor environment.

Intrusion
PesEyes’ intrusion triggers an alert when someone enters a pre-defined region. For example, in a sensitive area, an organisation can use this intrusion function to safeguard the entrance or an area.

Other Solutions
Face Mask Detection
Under the COVID-19 pandemic, wearing a face mask is the new normal in public areas. In order to promote and protect the health of individuals and the communities, PesEyes help to locate and alert the authorities of people who are not wearing a mask. It is invariant to the colour of the mask or mask types.
License Plate Recognition
License plate recognition or LPR is a smart element in PesEyes to locate and recognise the car license plate number. It has been widely used in a smart carpark system, including the case for opening the carpark gantry, tracking the vehicle across various cameras at different angles, and seamlessly integrating the data into the site’s report for further analysis. Common applications include speeding, beating red light and illegal parking.
Faulty Barrier / Missing Barrier Detection
Faulty barriers or missing barriers are troublesome issues for both driver and the carpark owner. It will cause vehicle congestion in front of the carpark gantry. By utilising PesEyes, the system will immediately alert the person-in-charge to resolve the issue and this would assure the smoothness of a carpark operation.
Illegal Parking / Vehicle Dwelling / Vehicle Congestion
PesEyes vehicle detection helps to spot illegal parking in an area of interest or vehicle congestion in front of a carpark gantry. It is not limited to cars only, and it can support lorries, vans, buses, motorcycles or even bicycles.
Crowd Counting
PesEyes’ crowd counting is not limited to humans only. It can be applied to vehicles and animals as well. It is either to count the number of people in a region of interest, or to monitor number of the people/ animals in and out of an area.
Climbing
PesEyes’ climbing is to detect when someone is climbing a fence or a wall in a region of interest. Like intrusion, it is to prevent someone from breaking into the area.
